For reference:

  1. The Child Digimon evolves with 10 victories in battle into Adult, and the Adult Digimon to Perfect after 15 battles. You will encounter the Digidestined Digimon periodically and a victory means you add them to your party.
  2. To catch the extra Digimon you need to utilize the electric HELP wave. To check the Help Wave status, select the function from the Menu. If you appear to be catching a HELP wave you are close to an AM radio signal or TV. Move closer and keep the Digivice close to it for three minutes until the three antennae's appear. From this point, you can try to get the target Digimon. For the Digivice Version 2, you may have to complete the Map within 130,000 steps for the boss Digimon to become available.
  3. Connecting your Digivice Version 2 with the Digimon Analyzer (Koushiro's Laptop) will also allow you evolve your Digimon into the Adult stage unconditionally without the 10 battles.
